Logically, each person has the freedom to express themselves in their own way, and AnCom respects this. What we will discuss below are different modes of representation and identification common among AnCom members, but which are not necessarily definitive. We value, as always, individuality.
As seen on the front page of the manifesto, the distinctive flag of AnCom is characterized by black and orange colors (essentially the same as Mutualism) with a microphone icon in the center (symbolizing stand-up comedy shows), but this is not necessarily the correct way to represent it, and it takes a pre-existing design. Alternatives may include clownish, jester-like symbolism, or related to the comedy mask.
Expanding on the above, AnCom symbology cannot simply be reduced to comedy shows and, under this interpretation, includes symbolism and images of clowns, jesters, mimes, and other elements focused on laughter and entertainment. It should not be limited to just one way of expressing humor.
These shows are highly important for the movement and one of the oldest forms of comedy there is. Their importance is highlighted for the dissemination of ideas, the accessible humor they usually have, and because those who do this type of comedy often have the ability to create humorous communities based on their specific type of comedy.
Characters and/or humorous personalities that are represented through various (again, personal) aspects and clownish attire is an expression that anyone can create and customize at will and whose objective is to represent a "clown self". In different interpretations, a clownsona can also represent specific concepts or specific social critiques, always under clownish or ironic symbolism. To a certain extent, the various Juggalo outfits and makeup can be considered derivations of a Clownsona. Due to its great diversity and tool as a form of expression, it is something that has our full approval.
ZUnder this interpretation, clownsonas are not only an artistic representation related to clowns, but an ironic display that reflects "the true self" of whoever makes the clownsona, representing more than a comedy act, then the true clownish personality of someone and being an expression of their true being. The Jubilita movement of Z is made up of clownsonas for this very reason. Without counting the political implications (which we reject entirely), Z's concept of Clownsonas is totally valid, respectable, and well regarded.
ZClown gender is a theory proposed by Z where it is explained that it is something like a counterpart of non-binary gender but superior for being based on clowns and another form of expression, explained in the form of a triangular scale. Under their interpretation, clown gender symbolizes (in their words) the absolute lack of identification with the conventional gender spectrum, or even with the very idea of gender, thus moving away from any social construction related to gender (including non-binary) and demonstrating your total lack of interest in these concepts. In my understanding, it is an incredibly ironic concept and depending on the interpretation, used as satire, so it is well regarded. Not only this, but it seeks to break away from any type of extreme by prioritizing indifference, something that aligns with our ideas.
Similar to the above, but instead of being supported by a theory and explanation (not even a basic one), it is used simply as satire, but relating to clowns and irony. It is often not used to be taken seriously, however, there are people who identify with traditional clown gender because it symbolizes their great love and devotion to clowns and clownsona identities and because they feel a great connection to its culture and everything related to clowns.
AnComs would incorporate habits that satirize various aspects of daily life, using humor to comment on relevant current events, events in their own lives, among others.
AnComs use satire and irony in their daily conversations, both in person and in online interactions, to comment on various topics in a way that maintains a humorous vibe. They tend to avoid seriousness and even if necessary, adorn it with touches of comedy.
These exponents, as we have already discussed, are summarized in the formation of a hypothetical subculture and would take the already clarified values of freedom, creativity, humor, fun, happiness, and resistance and rejection of censorship, oppression, and hatred.
