2. ABOUT OTHER IDEOLOGIES
-- CLOWNISH/HUMORISTIC TOLERANCE --
I consider that one of the biggest problems of most ideologies that propose eliminating the state is their latent contradiction, since they do not seek to eliminate said organism for the good of their population, or even for their cause, but to directly replace it and be the ones who govern, often under a totalitarian regime completely anti-tolerance. Having this as a basic critique, we will clarify that AnCom under no circumstances will seek to censor or eliminate existing ideologies, regardless of whether they are contrary to our principles or even against anarcho-comedism itself. If we were to repress freedom of expression like the state, we would be no different from it, nor from other equally hypocritical political stances. Of course, it would be ironic to do the opposite of what we say, but while it is funny (in my understanding, for the worse) it does not help the ideology at all and therefore falling into such fallacies must be avoided. In summary, all other ideologies are tolerated and we promote mutual respect between them, which is not the same as having to agree with them. You can have their negative points of view, freedom of expression is a fundamental point here.
-- EVALUATION OF IDEOLOGIES BASED ON THEIR HUMORISTIC CAPACITY --
Political ideologies especially contradictory and memeable are appreciated for their nature of generating memes and humor. The ability to generate laughs and fun is something we can highlight about them. We do not oppose ideologies with clear and serious ideas, although under our system it would be under the condition that it is at least exposed humorously. This type of ideology must be inspected under a humorous look to be able to take greater advantage of its comic and memeable potential.
-- CONTRADICTORY IDEOLOGIES, COMIC POTENTIAL --
Expanding on the previous point, ideologies that pretend to be always serious, but result in contradictions or hypocrisy, will have these points as their distinctive features and will be highlighted in order to turn them into humoristic material, highlighting the absurdity of the situation and thus generating comedy.
-- MEMES AS POLITICAL DIFFUSION --
Ideologies should be able to be analyzed under a humoristic lens, as mentioned previously, measuring how easy it is to turn it into a meme, in this case, not for mockery nor laughs, but as a methodology of diffusion of the same (something I am doing by writing this manifesto, for example). The ease with which an ideology can be synthesized in a meme format will contribute to its popularity and easier spread, and is a type of propaganda highly accepted under our ideology. We consider that meme culture not only influenced our society in a good and very notable way, but manages to make certain concepts more accessible and fun for people, thus making them approach the political sphere out of pleasure and enjoyment.
-- HUMORISTIC CREATIVITY IN IDEOLOGIES --
The comparison of different ideologies according to their ability to truly inspire laughter and foster humor is a priority for those totally committed to the general political vision of AnCom, highlighting laughter in this case over their non-ironic proposals.
-- IRONY IN SERIOUS IDEOLOGIES --
Ideologies that pretend to be taken seriously can without any hesitation join the clownish side and add irony to function better under our system, thus cooperating better with AnCom and achieving greater understanding and dissemination based on comedy, without ceasing to consider their proposals as something that gives food for thought and must be analyzed and commented on; demonstrating in this case that their foundations can be explained and interpreted humorously without problems.
-- EXTREMIST IDEOLOGIES AND SATIRE POTENTIAL | ABOUT HATE --
The radicalism of many ideologies is material for analysis and generates countless contradictions that result in humor and demonstrates their absurdity. We do not advocate fanaticism or political extremes under any circumstances, and therefore, these types of ideologies are not well-viewed, unless they manage to cause laughter (again, but this does not mean they should be censored). Hate in general tends to be their basis, in this case being something we disagree with (do not confuse with humoristic hate). For example, there are ideologies that directly and clearly call for the genocide of a sector X of the population, however, death is generally not a laughing matter, and by eliminating individuals, we fall not only into the repression that our ideology seeks to eliminate, but into the eradication of potentially outstanding jokesters. Ideologies like Nazism, at least in their sociocultural aspects, to give an example, will under no circumstances be well-viewed unless they are sought to be satirized.
-- POLITICAL PARODY --
Similar to what was explained regarding memeability and diffusion, it is possible to parody various ideologies, using exaggeration and mockery (if necessary) to synthesize and underline their most notable aspects, thus ridiculing (in a good way) their main foundations and synthesizing the information, helping to spread their ideas. This can also help to reveal their failures and contradictions, achieving, thanks to humor, to debate or correct them.
-- COMEDY AND PROPAGANDA --
As we have explored several times in this entry, comedy can be used for propaganda, something that we not only advise but promote. In this way, it would serve both to promote ideologies themselves and criticisms towards them or beliefs and systems of different kinds.
-- CAPACITY FOR SELF-CRITICISM --
AnCom will always encourage self-criticism as a fundamental aspect of each ideology (and one of the first ways to approach the irony that moves completely serious ideologies and brings them a little closer to our system). This capacity for reflection to find and discuss the holes in an ideology is highly noteworthy and we foster the ability to learn to laugh at oneself and/or one's own ideology/beliefs in order to expose these points in a fun way and debate them with equal happiness. It is possible that this manifesto does not have too many self-criticisms of AnCom, not because I consider it a perfect ideology, but because my priority is to expose different ideas and thoughts, but I also have my criticisms and contradictions that the reader will surely find and laugh at. :o)
-- BLACK HUMOR AS ANALYSIS MATERIAL --
Black humor could help to better explain and exemplify the most "reprehensible" aspects of highly controversial ideologies, in this case naming Nazism again for being one of the most popular and serving our example. Its antisemitic, racist aspects, among others, can be explained humorously using black humor, transforming these aspects into comedy material, but without moving too far from their initial dark and turbid origin.
-- HUMOR IN DEBATE --
Humor can facilitate dialogue and understanding during discussions or debates between different ideologies, maintaining a peaceful yet comic climate between them. In this way, mutual respect and shared fun of the listeners and representatives of different ideologies is guaranteed.
